Rare White Oolong Tea from Organic Tea Garden in Nepal.
To make this tea, silvery and fine tippy one leaf and a bud from first flush are picked in the first few sunny spring days in order to capture the spring seasonal flavor.
These leaves are carefully handled and withered for half an hour under the sun and then inside a room by supplying cold air for a whole night and the morning after. Then the leaves are lightly rolled. They are oxidized again either in a natural manner by keeping on cold floor or by supplying cool air. Once the required profile is reached, the leaves are dried in wood fired dryer. The oxidation process of the White Oolong takes places at around 20%.
The liquor is brisk and smooth, with a silky mouthfeel dominating the cup. Sweet notes of toasted cereal and dried flowers are discernible at the end.
Oolong White tea is floral with tropical fruit flavors, which is rare for a white tea.
Good for any types of breakfast.
Pour 8 ounces of boiling water on 1 teaspoon of tea and brew for 3 to 4 minutes. Enjoy plain or with honey and lemon.
