The classic monsoon tea made from the moist, tender and soft tea leaves. To make the Classic Green, finely plucked 2 leaves and a bud is required.
They are brought to factory within 1 hour of plucking and there they are supplied with cold air for a couple of hours. The leaves are then de-enzymed for 70 seconds and placed on a cool tiled floor, where there is excess of cold air, at 6500 feet.
Then leaves are hand rolled for 25 minutes and pan-fried for 2 hours. They are then hand sorted and kept to rest for the next 2 hours. This tea tastes as good as the first drop of the monsoon, they start at your lips and end in your heart.

Pour 8 ounces of boiling water on 1 teaspoon of tea and brew for 3 to 4 minutes. Enjoy plain or with honey and lemon.
