High Altitude Organic Spring White Tea from Ilam Chiya Gardens.
This tea is made after the Emerald Green is made. Spring White tea is made from the second harvest which takes place 4 to 6 days after the first harvest. The hand plucked leaves of the second harvest contain an even batch of all new leaves. One leaf and bud is selected and kept overnight in cool spring air for more than 18 hours. This mild oxidation allows the leaves to give out excess moisture. Then the leaves are gently hand rolled and sun dried.
Smooth and velvety yellowish color liquid with floral smell. Sweet toasted yet fresh cereal taste.
Good for any types of breakfast.
Pour 8 ounces of boiling water on 1.5 to 2 teaspoons of tea and brew for 3 to 4 minutes. Enjoy plain or with honey and lemon.
